Very good posts, I liked to see the variety of opinions ranging from practical points of view to quite interesting philosophical postures, some of them complex, some others simpler.
I also took the liberty of answering the question on my own a few days ago: Here's the link for anyone who might be interested. It's always good to read different points of view and expand our thinking and our knowledge. In a way, reality is fragile...
Life is something that we may not be able to control in its totality, or think we cannot. What is certain is that we can undertake a quest to control it as much as we can, thus achieving more freedom and probably more happiness.

This was a sneakily tough question! As you take either path (no control or all control) you can easily become overwhelmed in a kind of existential blur... LOL... I know I did. :) It has been a pleasure to support and read most of the posts - thanks for the brain food and the existential prod. ;)
