We started our trip on February 25th

We left Friday morning around 10 am. There had been some sleet the night before and we decided to delay getting started by a few hours for safety reasons. Glad we did because Friday going through Missouri we saw a bunch of cars and semi trailers had slid off the road and into the medium or into the ditches.

We made stops along our way

But decided to travel hard till we got to Arizona then we stopped more frequently. Our first stop was in the Petrified Forest.

Our next stop was at the Grand Canyon

I only pulled a few photos from what I have taken so far. I randomly pulled them from their thumb nails. As we are on vacation and though I don't want to be gone too long. I also don't want to be spending too much time writing a post.

We then decided to go on over to Las Vegas

That wasn't in our plan originally, but my husband was able to get a few extra days off work and doesn't have to be back to work till the 14 instead of the 9th. So we extended our trip to additional places.

After Vegas we visited Utah

This is where I got pulled over. I had my cruise control set at 60 started down a steep down grade and the car sped up to 80 in like 5 seconds and I start applying the brake but not soon enough in the 20 seconds it took me to get the car back to 60 I got clocked and pulled over. Thankfully he didn't give me a ticket. While I wait for him to run my plate I took these photos from my phone.

Then we visited Colorado

Love the mountains in Colorado, they are beautiful. We stopped along the Colorado River to explore for a bit.

We drove through Kansas

We just drove through it on this trip we didn't stay the night like we did in most of the states we went through. Texas is the other state we just drove through. Then we stopped in Oklahoma for the night.

Tomorrow we will arrive in Arkansas

We stopped to see friends in Oklahoma so we ended up stopping just outside of Arkansas tonight. Tomorrow we will be going to Diamond Crater Park. Don't know where we will go after that. Maybe home maybe elsewhere.
