Because the U.S. government is at war with itself, the likelihood of a Black Swan event has greatly increased

Cooperation between the President and Congress appears to be non-existent.

Almost the entire government is afraid that if the economy crashes, they will be blamed, so for years now they have been cooperating, even as they have been sworn enemies on the surface. They may even have been threatened by the real people in power to keep their mouths shut, or suffer a remote control auto-accident, exposure of a taboo sexual activity, or a botched and fatal medical procedure.

Both sides are looking for anything they can to take the other down.

This means that anything that requires secret cooperation between them cannot be done.

Our economy is being kept afloat artificially by secret activities by the U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve, going into the markets and buying stocks and Treasury Bonds whenever a crash is about to happen. This has been going on for years now.

Some Democrats, very few of course, may understand what is going on. They know the Executive Department is performing these sneaky, underhanded activities to make the Government in general look good. For their own self-preservation they remain silent about this.

However, some of the high level Democrats are politically suicidal, like Maxine Waters and those who support killing newborn babies. Those people would not hesitate an instant to expose what's going on if they can negatively affect Trump's approval rating or even say they have grounds for impeachment.

If Trump needs to do something in secret, that requires congressional cooperation to save the markets, he can't without fear the Democrats would expose his secret actions, calling them treasonous.

Therefore an entire collection of strategies is unavailable to the government to manage our economy.

How long will it be before something happens that they will be unable to save due to this?
