Russia-Ukraine War Live Updates: Seven killed in mortar attack near Kyiv; Russia says it used hypersonic missiles in Ukraine

Russian president Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine again. He said he was doing this because he wanted to protect ethnic Russians living there. He also said he had nothing to do with the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17.

A Russian mortar attack on a Ukrainian town killed seven people and injured five others. The attack was carried out by the Russian army. The Russian army used hypersonic Kinzhals missiles in Ukraine.
