South Tangerang District Police officers arrested two perpetrators of snatching and theft specialists.

The arrest was based on reports of violent theft on Jalan Raya Pisangan Barat next to the Medical Campus of Syarif Hidayatullah UIN Jakarta, Cirendeu, East Ciputat, South Tangerang in action on Monday (3/9/2018) then.

Those arrested were IM (23), AM (17). These two young men are known to not work.

South Tangerang Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Alexander Yurikho said, the two perpetrators seized cellphones belonging to Indah Maulidia (19). The seizure occurs when the victim is walking while communicating using his cellphone.

"When Indah again called on the road, suddenly the two perpetrators by riding a motorcycle immediately clapped and grabbed the cellphone until it was successful and the perpetrator also seized the bag carried by the victim until the victim crashed into the asphalt," Alexander said when confirmed on Saturday (9/15 / 2018).

As a result of the incident, Indah suffered abrasions on his hands and feet, and was taken to the Syarif Hidayatullah UIN Hospital.
After the incident, the Tangerang police team conducted a search until the two young men were arrested along Jalan Gotong Royong, Pondok Cabe Udik, Pamulang, South Tangerang City on Friday (9/14/2018).

Alexander explained, in this case IM acted as AM's motorbike carrier as the executor who seized the cellphone and pulled the bag until the victim fell and suffered injuries.

According to Alexander, these two perpetrators were specialist theft and violence syndicates who often launched their actions in several regions.

"The suspects admitted that they have lived eight times in various regions, namely South Tangerang four times, Sawangan twice, and Pasar Parung twice, Alexander said.

These two perpetrators were ensnared by Article 365 of the Criminal Code with a nine-year threat of imprisonment.

When carrying out arrests, the police managed to confiscate 1 (one) Mobile unit of Oppo A37f brand belonging to the victim and 1 unit of Yamaha Mio J motorcycle with police number B-6964-ZHB.

"We will use this evidence later for case development because the perpetrators have committed several criminal acts in various regions," Alexander said.
