I'm glad you took your daughter on an outing, just the two of you. When my three children were growing up I would try to go somewhere with just one at a time about once a month. Even if it was just to the park to play, and then get an ice cream cone, it was just the two of us for a while. I remember those outings fondly, and hope they do, too.
