One of my cousins had been nagging us to come to this place where abundant supplies of games for adults were available. He went there for a few times already and he wanted us to come. So the nagging stopped when we finally planned for it.

I was astonished to find the various games we could play. It wasn't abundant but rather overwhelming enough to spend almost four hours inside. To be honest, the time wasn't sufficient because we wanted to stay but they had to close. I would be mentioning some of the things we were able to do. Imagine we only needed to pay P50.00 ($0.94) to play for unlimited hours. The place also offered food such as pasta, rice meals, coffee, tea, smoothies, fries, and chicken wings!

We started with two rounds of Jenga. Three blocks must be on top of another three blocks until all blocks were in place. Each player must remove one block (doesn't matter which) using only one hand and place it on top. The player who, while removing a block or placing a block on top causes the tower to fall, loses. Our first round was pretty amazing for our first game because the tower was quite high and all of us were tensed when we tried to remove a block. I caused the tower to fall during the second round. Hehe.

The second was UNO Cards. Most of you might have heard of it and I wouldn't try explaining it here but for those who are interested, you can read the instructions here . It wasn't a simple game, instead of using the normal sized cards, we opted to play instead with giant ones. We were having a lot of fun because trying to hide the cards were more difficult than expected. Moreover, trying to spread the cards on hand was sort of impossible for me so I just kept them on top of one another. Luckily, I didn't lose.

Cards were spread on the table face down. Each player must flip one card. The player who gets to find two identical pictures must put his hands on top of these cards and shout Ugly! Ugly! Ugly! The player may then keep the cards. Some drawings were almost the same so it was challenging for us to find similar cards. This game was called Ugly Doll. In some instances such as two players finding the cards at the same time, the first one who finishes shouting the chant gets to keep that set of card. The one who has the most pairs wins. Guess what, I won two rounds. (Don't tell my cousins, I have my bragging rights.)

Another game we played was The Voting Game. Each player is given a specific number written on white cards. After that, one after another, each player must pick one black card from the pile which can either be read or placed in the middle for everyone to read. All players must vote who possesses the quality/trait/adjective specified on the card and he/she gets to keep it. Probably the winner is the player who has the most black cards. The objective of the game is to sort of measure how well you know the people around you.

DiXit was a special kind of game. I don't think this was the name of the game since there were a lot of DiXit boxes there but each of us were given six cards with unique illustrations. The active player would pick one word which he/she thought could describe one of our cards, too. The chosen cards were lined up and we would guess which of these was the active player's card in order to acquire points. I wouldn't try explaining the pointing system; I myself was confused. But then again, I won.

Another spectacular and fun game was known as Jungle Speed. Each player holds seven cards and must be unaware of the pictures in it. One by one, the players would flip one card. Two players who had cards with similar figures although different colors must get the wooden thing (idk what it's called, sorry) in the middle. The player who gets the wooden thing would give his cards to the other player. There were rules other than that, of course.

There was also a game where two cards where unfolded. All players would try to find which object was similar on both cards. The first player to shout the object would keep the card. If two players simultaneously mentioned it, the first to finish saying Spot! Spot! Spot! would take the card. The remaining card would then be paired to a newly unfolded card and the cycle repeats. This was called The Spot Game, if I wasn't mistaken.

The crew there were called Game Masters. If you were not familiar with the game, you can ask them and they will kindly teach you how. My cousin said there was a time when one of the Game Masters was actually playing with them. It sounded super fun and exciting. Plus, a new friend!
