Under a Winner-Take-All system, a vote for the Third Party or Independents is in effect no different from casting mock vote or not voting at all.

And as there's no huge benefits (getting to know new friends, social bonding with affiliates, emotional gains etc) going to the voting station while inevitably incurring some costs (time and transport fees etc) to me, as a homo rational I find no incentive to go to vote.
