10 ‘Odd’ Behaviors That Are Actually A Sign Of Hidden Genius
You can take any test, and even the latest IQ test and fail, but that still doesn’t mean that you’re not a genius. In fact, there are all sorts of surprising indicators that could be alerting you and others around you that you’re a freaking genius, and you don’t even know it yet.
There are a number of ways for a person to exhibit signs that they are actually a lot smarter than they’ve been led to believe. Most of these clues come in the form of certain challenges or behaviors that could be attributed to intellectual pursuits. Who knows, you might know someone who’s the next Einstein or you could be the next Stephen Hawkins yourself.
You question everything rather than just take everyone’s word for it.
If you’re curious about everything and doubt even the deepest facts of existence or the universe itself, you could be looking at subtle signs of higher intelligence.
You’re messy, because chaos often brings plenty of creativity.
Contrary to popular belief, being messy isn’t necessarily a sign of laziness. All that chaos in your own environment helps you to explore brand new creative venues.
You doodle, but it’s not because you’re bored, but rather because you’re creative.
Your hand seems to have a mind of its own, but in fact, it’s your own brain, conscious or otherwise expressing the inner creative form that’s hidden deep inside of you.
Your brain is a little Swiss cheese. Oh hell, let’s face it, you’re a scatterbrain.
That’s fine though, because your brain is flooded with so much information that sometimes you can be overwhelmed and forget things. Just look at the absent minded professor from Disney. Sure, he was a genius, but he couldn’t remember a date if his life depended on it.
You’re socially awkward and isolated like Sheldon from the “Big Bang Theory.”
You’re more of an information seeker and you tend to think too much, so the thought of actually developing social skills seems like a huge waste of time.
Everyone has always accused you of having your head in the clouds.
Yup, if you’re a daydreamer who drifts off during a boring class or a meeting, or you can’t wait to lay in bed to just dream while you’re awake, you’re showing off that you’re a freaking creative genius.
You have habits that stimulate your left and right brain.
Writing is just one way of using your left brain analytics with your right brain’s creative sight. In essence, you wouldn’t be able to come up with the perfect story if you weren’t able to use the creative and the analytical side of your brain.
You don’t have a huge number of friends, but the few you do are like family.
This is great because they’ll forgive you when you’re out of touch or cancel on them for like the billionth time. The fact is, smart people can concentrate better if they a smaller social circle, and they’re selective about who they spend time with and who they avoid, like needy people.
You love to read and can’t imagine for the life of you why television and movies even exist.
You spend the entire day at a library or at Barnes and Noble, and not because you like their coffee, but because you simply can’t put a single book down. Well, congrats, this probably means you’re smart.
Most intelligent people tend to sleep a lot later than the average person.
In some cases, they’re like vampires who sleep during the day, but stay awake at night. Plus things are quieter after everyone’s gone to sleep so you can concentrate without any unwanted distractions.
