Amarkantak--it's fun to follow all rituals.
Hi friends ,today I want to share my experience to travel amarkantak.
Amarkantak is a land of several stories and it has witnessed several empires, starting from the Pandavas to foreign rulers to the modern times. There are plenty of temples in Amarkantak.
We start our journey from lakhnadon at 7.30pm and reach there at 6 am. We are about 20 to 30 persons. There was 2°c temperature at that time and we take a holy dip with prayers on our lips in River narmda at 7 .30 am,it was to cold but the feeling was superb. There was a kund(a small area where devotees can take a holy dip). The bathing is believed to result in merit or absolution of past sins. We also pray to the sun and thank for our successes and prosperity.
After that we go to their temple, mai ki BAGIYA,son bhardra and then Kapil dhara .

Then we return back from there at 5pm and at 1pm we are at home.
