This time I will discuss about Linux distros that are often used to test penetration test hack that release not recently. The Linux distributions are Parrot 3.9 "Intruder".
Parrot Project announced that it will release the latest Parrot Security 3.9 operating system for penetration hacking testing in the coming weeks. The team also released a beta version for testers. After waiting several weeks, finally Parrot 3.9 was released as well.
While the official release announcement and release notes are not visible on the official website of Parrot OS, but the developer team even announced it through their Facebook page. "Parrot 3.9 (with Intruder code) is now available for download" wrote the developer team on their Facebook page.
Prior to that in another announcement the team revealed its plan to equip with Firejail Sandboxing with additional App Armor, SELinux, and Tomoyo support in Parrot 3.9. according to the Parrot Security 3.9 download page, this latest edition releases in 64-bit and 32-bit versions. Supported with the 4.13 Linux kernel, Parrot 3.9 is based on Debian 10 Buster and will get the scope of the MATE 1.18 desktop.
The main software that has been set in the OS Parrot 3.9 "Intruder" includes LibreOffice 5.4 and Firefox 56. For the full version includes AnonSurf, TOR Browser, Cryptographic Tools, Security Pentesting Tools, Digital Forensics Tools, Development Tools, Electrum Bitcoin Wallet , Wine Support, and UEFI Support.
