App says failed after granting permission

Expected behavior

I expect that when I click on ' grant' from the READ_LOG Permission popup, it should be successful

Actual behavior

When I clicked on 'grant' on the READ_LOG Permission popup, it returns failed.

How to reproduce

download the app from F-Droid store, Install and run the app
when a popup with READ_LOG Permission required come up, click on grant.
it Will respond with failed, thus the bug.
Browser/App version: logcats reader version 1.3.0
Operating system: android 5.1.1 lollipop. Infinix hot 3 LTE

The popup message says clearly that you need to have the device rooted or that you need to give the permissions with a computer. Your report lacks the details about this fact and therefore it is hard to believe it is a bug.
