wrong translation of heteronyms

Here I am resubmitting this bug report. The previous submission could not be approved because the particular repository had no license file. I contacted the author of the repository. He agreed with my bug report and added a license file. However, I got no further response from the moderator. I am not sure whether I should resubmit my report, or wait for the moderator's new response. My previous report is almost 7 days old. I just removed the content of the old post. Hopefully what I am doing is correct.

Expected behavior

There are many heteronyms in Chinese, i.e. a Chinese character might have multiple prononciations, which depends on how it combines other characters. I would expect that the pinyin package could convert heteronyms in the right way.

From example,

• the pinyin of '我是一只小小鸟' should be "wǒ shì yī zhī xiǎo xiǎo niǎo",

• the pinyin of '音乐' should be "yīn yuè", and

• the pinyin of '月亮' should be “yuè liang”

Actual behavior

However, when I use the pinyin package to convert these examples, I get the wrong pinyin.

> pinyin::pinyin('我是一只小小鸟')
[1] "wǒ_shì_yī_zhī_xiǎo_xiǎo_diǎo"
> pinyin::pinyin('音乐')
[1] "yīn_lè"
> pinyin::pinyin('月亮')
[1] "rù_liánɡ"

How to reproduce

• Windows 7 64 bit
• pinyin v.1.1.1
• R 3.4.3
