Unit Conversion Tutorial Using Calculator N+ (Open source) - Math Solver
Some engineering students was struggling in Unit Conversion during studies. Unit is very important in supporting the numbers as it stands to be the Last Name and numbers is the First Name. Numbers without unit seems like it don't have value. But as I said, Unit in number is very important especially in Industry. Our daily life was surrounded by numbers like counting especially, money.
Common example of Unit especially in length are meter, feet, yard, inches and centimeter. But, can you really tell the equivalent of 1 meter in feet, yard, inches and centimeter? For some engineering students, they can simply recall the equivalent of 1 meter as it is really required in engineering courses to memorize it, but some of the student can't deny that they are struggling in Unit Conversion.
So, I bring this another tutorial about simple way to convert Unit to help many students struggling about this subject using NCalc+ (Open source) - Math Solver developed by Le Duy Tran. The app is an Open source an already available in Android OS Play Store. You can direct to this link to download the app if you don't have it yet in your smartphone.
For more information about Open source project, you van visit it in Github from this link.
I assumed that you have the app downloaded already in your phone to proceed for the tutorial.
Step 01:
Lunch the NCalc+ app from your smartphone and you will be directed to the Scientific version of calculator as one the app features. Press the "FEATURES" button of the app to open its features loaded. You can refer to the photo shown above with the highlighted red box.
Step 02:
Scroll down the features button and navigate to "Unit Conversion" features. After found, press it and you will be directed to its own panel.
Step 03:
In Unit Conversion panel, you will see many types of conversion available. From the available list, this are Temperature, Length, Power, Energy, Velocity, Area, Volume, Bit Rate and Time. From the list, select what type of conversion you're going to convert. For the tutorial purpose, I select Temperature.
Step 04:
From the highlighted part. The red box is where to input the data. And the blue box is the result from the data input. Upon clicking the yellow box, you are requested to select the initial unit of the data.
In this tutorial, I both select Celsius and Fahrenheit Unit.
Step 05:
Upon doing Step 04, the converted result will be directly updated.
For Celsius, the equivalent of 20 degrees are:
For Fahrenheit, the equivalent of 20 degrees are:
That's all.
This tutorial aims to help every student struggling in Unit Conversion using the Calculator N+ (Open source) - Math Solver. Surely, their will be many students will be helped by this Open source app in their Mathematics subject.
