I told my girlfriend I do not celebrate Valentine's Day

I told with my girlfriend, Ashley, who I call "Ash," that I do not celebrate Valentine's Day because it is a made up holiday for the purpose of selling things. We have been together since a little after last Valentine's Day, so we have yet to celebrate one together.

Anyways, I am going to surprise her with her favorite flowers and some other gifts and tell her that we are celebrating "Ash Wednesday."
