Una vez más nos damos cita con el arte pictórico para motivar la escritura creativa. Para esta edición 136 les traigo como invitado a Erik Nikolai Järnefelt, mejor conocido como Eero Järnefelt.

Este distinguido artista plastico nació el 8 de noviembre de 1863 en Víborg (Rusia). Perteneció a una familia solvente económicamente hablando y muy culta. Su padre era el General Alexánder Järnefelt y su madre la Baronesa Elisabeth Järnefelt. Tuvo ocho hermanos, los cuales destacaron en el mundo del arte.

Sus estudios primarios los realizó en academias privadas. Cuando tenía 11 años ingresó a la Academia de Bellas Artes de Helsinki. Entre los años 1874 y 1878 estudió en la Academia Imperial de las Artes, y entre los años 1886 y 1888 estuvo en la Academia Julian de París.

Contrajo nupcias con Saimi Swan, en el año 1889.

Fue profesor de dibujo en la Universidad de Helsinki, entre los años 1902 y 1928. Además fue Presidente de la "Academia Finlandesa de Bellas Artes".

Perteneció al movimiento: Nacionalismo romántico y se destacó en el género: retrato.

Falleció el 15 de noviembre de 1937 en Helsinki (Finlandia), a los 74 años.

Once again, we're turning to pictorial art to inspire creative writing. For this 136th edition, I'm bringing you Erik Nikolai Järnefelt, better known as Eero Järnefelt, as my guest.

This distinguished artist was born on November 8, 1863, in Vyborg, Russia. He belonged to a financially wealthy and highly educated family. His father was General Alexander Järnefelt and his mother, Baroness Elisabeth Järnefelt. He had eight siblings, all of whom excelled in the art world.

His primary education was in private academies. When he was 11, he entered the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki. Between 1874 and 1878, he studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts, and between 1886 and 1888, he attended the Académie Julian in Paris.

She married Saimi Swan in 1889.

He was a professor of drawing at the University of Helsinki from 1902 to 1928. He was also President of the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts.

He belonged to the Romantic Nationalism movement and excelled in the portrait genre.

He died on November 15, 1937, in Helsinki, Finland, at the age of 74.
