Hilda was inspired by her older sister's fame, her artistic talent, and the accolades she had received. Therefore, the younger sister requested that her older sister teach her some of the intricacies of painting so that she too could create paintings, perhaps not as accomplished as her sister's, but at least to her own satisfaction.

The older sister, a renowned artist of the 19th century, assured her sister that she would teach her to paint, but emphasized that this art required great concentration, dedication, and hard work.

Hilda had already made up her mind that she would do whatever it took to learn to paint.

And thus began Hilda's journey into painting. Her older sister gave her a piece of velvet fabric with some sketches drawn on it and instructed her to transfer these sketches onto a larger canvas and then fill them with colors according to her imagination. She was told not to rush, and that once she understood the sketches thoroughly, she would have no further difficulties.

Following these instructions, Hilda sat on a chair in her room, in the soft light, trying to understand the sketches given to her by her older sister with great concentration. Some items were scattered haphazardly on her table; the vase of flowers on the table in the picture looked incredibly lifelike. Her focused gaze showed that she had succeeded in her first day's test. She was confident that she would be able to fulfill the promise she had made to her older sister.
