Art and Writing Contest #158: Little fox
Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to write for this contest that is running by @solperez, here is the link if you are also interested:
It was a little village with approximately 100 people who lived here. The village was miles away from the nearest big town that is why young people preferred to move away and be close to civilisation like kino, theatre, disco and night clubs. Later when many get older they used to return to their roots. The same happen to these three elderly men who usually spend their time together on the bench at water side. Looking at them now, it was difficult to imagine that they were young and run all around to forest and to water, fishing and hunting. Now, since they got older they could only chat about those days.
One day, when they were sitting again on their place, it was a little young fox who walked out of forest, it was not scared of people, it was looking hungry and also its fur looked like it had been in a fight and managed to escape.
The friends were looking at the fox and thinking what to do with it. One said:
- “We just need to release the soul of the fox from that misery.”
But two other friends were not happy to kill that little poor animal. They decided to find a place here in barn for fox. They did not have any cattle and no chicken, the barn was empty and only some machinery was there.
Since then, the friends had their task to look after this injured fox and to treat the wound but also to feed. They brought some food few times a day but also some water to drink.
Just few weeks later, fox recovered and was able to run itself all around the barn but also back to forest. Once the friends saw that they become sad because they got used to this little fellow.
One day, it was about a week since their fox has left they were again on their place on bench nearby the water, they noticed fire-red shadow and at this moment they all almost just up from their sit as they could recognise their little friend. It returned and it had a chicken in its mouth, it brought it to the friends and left it at their feet, just after that it looked into their eyes like saying thank you for treating me.

Thank you for this contest, I must say it is easy to write a story when you have soemthing to look at, like we did when we were little children and were not able to read but we loved to reveiw the pictures and think about this picture wants to tell us :)
Muchas veces pensamos que los animales no tienen sentimientos, pero aquí en tu relato lo dejas muy bien claro que estos animalitos nos van a agradecer todo lo que hacemos por ello

Yes, I think the animals like us have their feeling and often I think they can understand if people kind and if they are safe with them. I hope that if we love animals they will pay back :)

Gracias por leer mi publicación. Sí, a menudo vemos que los animales tienen los mismos sentimientos que los humanos: compasión, amabilidad y amistad. Creo que los niños y los ancianos pueden apreciarlos mejor.
