Home schooling
Hello my dear Steemians,
It is another story for the painting of Myron Barlow, it was a pleasure to write and please find my story
Marie and Sonia were sisters, there were just two years between them, that is why they were grown up almost like twins. They loved to do a lot together and had fun. Despite of being very similar they were also a bit different.
Marie was older than Sonia, maybe because of that she felt that she should teach her little sister, from their childhood, she taught her everything. Of course, in childhood, she was teaching Sonia how clean house, how to help with cooking, they together learned knitting and sewing. They both had a lot of fun and enjoyed to spend time together. Their parents were very happy to have such clever young daughters.
Slowly the girls grown up and visited school. Marie loved learning and was very good, every new subject was easy to learn and understand. Sonia always wanted to be like Marie and tried to be as good as her. Despite of that Sonia was more interested in knitting and sewing, she was more creative person.
When Marie and Sonia were at home, Marie always took time to do home schooling, she wanted her sister to be better and so that it is easy for her in school. They both know that it is important to have good knowledge in order to get better future. At least to reach more than their parents.
Day by day Sonia was getting better and even her teachers have noticed that progress. For Sonia her sister Marie was the best teacher.

Desde mi punto de vista, en estos tiempos modernos, donde sobreabunda la información, hace falta "detenerse" un poco a reflexionar sobre lo que está sucediendo en el mundo, y sobre todo con los seres humanos.
Seguro que en el tiempo de Sonia y de Marie los saberes las hacían "tener los pies bien puestos sobre la tierra". En cambio, ahora ni siquiera estamos conscientes de que tenemos pies, jeje.

Thank you @solperez, when I did write the story I just recalled my own time as a child, me and my siblings we often play school and of course were teaching each other topics that we knew best. It was easy to ask questions and to go over again and again. For us it was a lot of fun, I hope it was the same for many families and kids :)
