To Embrace the Family

We are Family

 

Family is one of the important part of our live, those ones who have family members should consider themselves to be very lucky. When I think about my childhood and the fact of being surrounded by love of my parents both my father and mother, but also my grandparents and siblings. For me I did not know it other way and I thought that all the people have the same like me.

Later on when I was in school and we had some children who had only one parent it was very strange for me and I remember those children felt uncomfortable when we all were talking about our fathers and mothers. Those children tried to stay away from such talks.

When I grown up and also then saw other kinds who were in University and those ones were from orphanage they were completely different people. They appreciated any contact and any friendship with others. They invited us to their apartments and hosting any possible gathering. They prefer to have people around them. The time of holidays like Christmas and birthdays they were sad because we all were travelling to our families and those colleagues of mine were just their left alone. I invited one of these my friend once to join me and my family, my friend after hesitation agreed and we had our normal family gathering and my friend was so grateful for that. I only then understood how much we, people who have family have and how much those people without their own family would like to give just to be able to experience that.

 

 

My favourite song is “We are family” that is sang by “Sister sledge” that is actually an old song but it is still very popular. Every Christmas and New Year it is in radio and TV. When I hear the song it gives me very nice warm feeling and great mood. I love the part where it is such quote “I have all my sisters with me”. For me it is not only about sisters but to have all my family members with me. I am very thankful that I have my family and my siblings but all my good friends, colleagues and everyone who I consider my friend. We do not appreciate it now when we are young and busy but we definitely will regret if we do not do it now. Please try to hug your dear ones and to say that you love them very much. Tell it every time and show it when you can, it is the precious thing in the whole world, your family!
