Great post. That extra ID "carnet de la patria" which you lose when you are no longer seen as a government supporter is outrageous. Using it to cut you off from food is an even more outrageous means to keep people compliant. A simple mind might even think that it is your own "fault" if you lose your "carnet de la patria" and punish you with your disregard even more.
