Verge (XVG) Failed us in Quarter 4 of 2017. Monero Takes Over!

in #verge7 years ago

Many people, including myself invested in Verge this December. There was all kinds of positive information circulating the internet about XVG. I was very optimistic about my investment and was excited to hold my XVG for 2018. On the Verge official website the road map promised the release of several new additions to the Verge wallet and blockchain. The main one was the Wraith protocol. The developers of Verge failed to deliver these updates by the end of 2017. The Wraith protocol was released last second before the begining of the new year. This would not have been a huge issue but the developers did not even give us a finished product! As of now it is only functional on certain platforms.

I had faith in Verge as a powerful privacy coin. Although the development team is small I thought they could still figure it out and give us a good product. Unfortunately I was most definitely wrong. My investments need to be backed by a reliable and trustworthy team, which is not Verge. Before XVG collapsed again I sold and put it all back into Monero. I thought XVG was the future but it seems like Monero still is king of privacy.
