Good day friends!

I promised an update in 'a few days' but so much has been happening it's really been a challenge to keep up!

First off, let's begin with an announcement from myself and my dear friend @wolfcat, as we've decided to head for Greece in mid September to run the Gerania Vertical Kilometer, in Loutraki, Greece!

And so to kick off the Steemit P2P World Tour, I'm going to make it my mission for the latter half of September to find out and report back. :)

Over the 4th, 5th & 6th of July...

@wolfcat and I headed for the North Shore of Lake Superior (aka, Lake Gichi-Gami) to soak up some nature, and boy did we! It was also a great opportunity to begin training for the Gerania Vertical Kilometer. I managed to bring along the C300 and capture some test footage, so I made this little piece to give a taste of our adventure.

I'm still learning how to be quick and agile with my new camera, but so far the image quality is blowing me away. This was all very hastily shot, while running around on hiking trails, so considering the 'on the fly' nature of the recordings, I managed to catch some great footage.

In order to have a clear conscience about shooting on this amazing new camera of mine, I've been finishing up editing on some old footage which really needs to see the light of day.
