It's a shame, but people started using youtube because it gave user created content a voice and an opportunity to create revenue. If that revenue is gone, then people will simply move elsewhere. DTube is a great platform alternative and backed by steem, I think it will go from strength to strength.
Maybe now is a good time to buy some short contracts on Google.inc.
