SC-S26W1/Video Editing, Getting Started

in #videoediting-s26w121 days ago (edited)

Today I have decided to engage in this challenge, not as a complete novice to what the CapCut application is all about but as one who has utilised this tool to create many videos with both the paid and free versions. The popular application CapCut has a parent, which is TikTok, owned by the same person. I am sure I just instilled in you something new, cheese.

I will be sharing a step-by-step tutorial of how I made this video since it is about utilising the clip addition tools for selecting multiple clips of both pictures and videos, the aspect ratio button, the overlay and export button, and also recognising the interface that has the main menu and the personal clip editing interface, and so on.

I had my CapCut app already installed on my device, so giving it access to my videos and files was in full to access everything, because these days I do a lot of video editing jobs for my friend-in-law, who is running an election in the university campus student politics.

The video I will be sharing is a clip from a Child a Million Smile project earlier this year.

Go to the edit icon in your CapCut application. If, while you open it, it is on the template or on the 'me' icon, make a switch.

Click on 'New Project', and you will be directed to where to add clips, photos and videos, which can be added simultaneously.

After adding the pictures and video clip, click on 'add', and then they will appear on the timeline.

I quickly moved to setting up my aspect ratio to make the picture and video fit the screen.

After this I proceeded to overlay. I had already downloaded the Steemit logo. Menu 1 was where I found my overlay, so I added it, and the creativity here was my ability to make some changes in its position at different times in the video to make it more visible. In a darker part of the video the logo is more visible.

Most times I love adding music to my video, but since this is a tutorial lesson, I proceeded to exporting my video.
