Nigerian recipe 5: Eba and Okra soup

Eba (cassava dumplings) is an african meal especially in Nigeri, it mostly consumed by most family in Nigeria. Eba is a solid that is enjoyed with various soups such as Okra soup and Efo Rir.
How to prepare eba
Buy either the white or yellow garri and you are good to go. Boil water and pour into a bowl. Sprinkle the garri into the boiled water. pour out excess water and turn properly. You can add more garri if it is too soft or water if it is very hard. Like i said earlier ,You can serve with any soup.

Okra.
Okra soup is one of the most popular Nigerian soup, I like this soup because it is very easy to prepare and likely the cheapest soup in Nigeria.it is prepared using the edible green seed pods of the okra flowering plant as a primary ingredient.
How to prepare okra soup.

  1. Before cooking the soup boil your stock fish for twenty (20) minutes, leave in water to soak
  2. Cut the okra in to tiny pieces, the more tiny u cut the more draw it becomes
  3. Grind the crayfish and pepper
  4. Wash pumkin leave if thats a preferable choice of vegetable then cut into tiny pieces
  5. Fry the palm oil adding your peper and stockfish into the oil along with the boiled water
  6. Wait for 10minute four soup to boil, then u add your maggie, salt and cryfish before putting your choped pumkin vegetable leave for 20minutes soup is ready serve in a plate along side the soup and enjoy ............steemits taste the african culture
