Why drink more water? Benefits of drinking water.

Our bodies are about 60% water. It is recommended to drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Here is why:

1- Water helps with physical performance:

Physical performance can suffer if we do not stay hydrated especially during high intensity exercise or heat. Dehydration can lead of high body temperature, fatigue, reduced motivation to exercise as it makes it more difficult to perform physically and mentally. Being hydrated has proven to prevent all of the above. 1-3% of fluid loss can equal to about 2kg of body weight loss for a person who weighs about 70kilos

2- Increases energy levels:

Did you know our brain is mostly water? Drinking water helps you think, think better, focus and be more alert. Energy levels are also boosted.

3- Improves the quality of your skin:

Drinking water moisturizes your skin. It keeps it fresh, soft and smooth. It is also is the best anti aging treatment as it gets rid of wrinkles. Thats awesome!!

4- Boosts immune system and natural headache remedy:

A person who drinks enough water is less likely to get sick as it helps fighting against flu, cancer and other things like heart attacks. Dehydration causes headaches. Drinking water helps relieve and prevent headaches, migranes and back pains too.

5- Water helps your kidneys

Your kidneys do an amazing job cleansing and getting rid of your body toxins as long as you consume enough water.
Body fluids transport waste products in and out of cells. When you're getting enough fluids urine flows freely, is light in colour and free of odor.

Water should be your choice of drink. It makes you feel good, helps with cravings and headaches, constipation, etc.
