Waterfalls in Krka National Park

The waterfalls in Krka National Park were, right from the start, on my “must-see” list—along with Dubrovnik—when I was planning my trip to Croatia. As with a few other places, I first saw this spot while watching YouTube videos before traveling to a new country. I was particularly impressed by the drone footage. I wanted to go there right away.
Krka National Park is located on the lower reaches of the Krka River near the town of Šibenik, halfway between Zadar and Split. There are several ways to get to the waterfalls themselves. We chose the most popular one: we drove to the village of Lozovac and left our car in the large parking lot located at the southeastern edge of the village. The main entrance to the park is also there. You can walk down to the waterfalls or take a shuttle bus. We chose option number 2.
