沿江的步道上空荡荡的，江风嗖嗖地刮得发冷。路上的行人稀稀拉拉，也有些锻炼的大爷，没人像我这样慢悠悠晃着——毕竟这天冷风大。

不远处的广州塔就立在冷风中，此刻看过去却只剩几分遥远的冷清。心里半点想去逛的念头都没有。冷风刮得越急，脑子里还有工要打的念头就越清晰。

The riverside walkway was empty. The wind off the river howled, cutting sharply and sending a chill to the bone. There were only a handful of pedestrians scattered about—some elderly men out for their exercises—but no one else was wandering as slowly as I was. After all, it was such a cold day with a bitter wind.

Not far away, the Canton Tower stood solitary in the cold. From where I stood, it looked nothing but distant and desolate. I had not the slightest urge to go and explore it. The harder the wind blew, the clearer the thought "I still have work to finish" became in my mind.
