晚上逛超市，正好火龙果打折，一块钱一个。我精心挑选了两个去打秤。
理货员是个新面孔，还不熟悉怎么打标签，问我这是红火龙果还是白火龙果，在电子屏幕上鼓捣了好一会儿。我答白火龙果，一块钱一个，特价一共两元。
他懵懵懂懂的样子搞得我都想直接上去帮他操作了。
还是之前的理货员好啊，经常给我推荐一下今日特价水果，使我以超低价钱买到好水果。
还是多给新手时间和机会吧，希望他能好好成长。
I dropped by the supermarket in the evening and happened to find dragon fruits on sale—only one yuan each. I carefully picked two and went to weigh them.
The stock clerk was new and unfamiliar with how to print the price tags. He asked me if they were red-fleshed or white-fleshed dragon fruits, and fumbled with the electronic screen for quite a while. I told him they were white-fleshed, one yuan each, so the total was two yuan for the special offer.
He looked so confused that I almost wanted to step in and operate the machine myself.
The previous clerk was much better. He often recommended the day’s discounted fruits to me, letting me buy good fruits at super low prices.
Still, we should give newbies more time and chances. Hope he grows well soon.
