What a nice message to stumble on
I haven't used partiko since I first heard of it and since I didn't have access to my PC today but some more time to read chats while travelling I checkedrcked it out again and happened to see 1 new message. It contained this.
I justed wanted to take the time to thank the user for this message. Although I have to admit I don't remember him as decentmemes was quite short-lived but showed how quick and easy you could build your own frontend on Steem and how much better original memes were than brainless competitors mining on users. I hope I get to stumble upon you on the platform again and that you hopefully are still active (haven't checked yet)
It means a lot to me cause this has been one of my main focuses on Steem and the team at @ocd has helped me out with this a lot as well. I hope that our attempts with @ocdb regarding distribution will also ensure that these sort of actions happen again in the near future by our userbase.
I don't think people get these messages a lot as curators are quite underrated on the platform, I just want to remind people to let your favourite curators know from time to time as they are not as many around anymore. If your planning on being on Steem long term it can be an extra incentive to be on their list of users they remember.
All that above was not directed at me (that would've made me sound like I'm expecting people to send me thank you postcards), there are many curators and curation guilds who exist and spend a lot of time even though they may not make anything out of it. Let them know how much you appreciate their work and if anything that they keep sticking to a more generous income model on this platform.
I hope we will see a lot more curators join the platform soon, and also content creators and regular users of course. :)
Good night!

Wow. I sent you this partiko message a while back and to be fair I didn't even know if you got it and read it. I'm glad that you did though. :D
Keep being awesome, @acidyo!
Always heart warming to read stories like this, because it reminds us that our actions actually may just have an impact on others, even if what we did might not feel that significant to us. Thanks @zemiatin for that awesome reach back and thanks @acidyo for being awesome in the first place.
I also just want to shout out to @achristopherart who just did exactly what you asked for in this post, @acidyo :) Today, he made my day by telling me that what I do is actually appreciated at Steemit <3
Thanks, Anthony!
That's a nice message :)
I can say the same - the support I had from you, v4v, ftg, etc has kept me plugging away to a point where I'm getting similar messages from smaller accounts.
This is one good way to build a community :)
That's my goal :)
Manual curation is a crucial part to keep this platform going as often that's the only way that quality content authors are rewarded instead of rewards just going to all the high rep and high stake users.
A lot of people don't appreciate the time and effort that goes into manual creation, looking for the content amongst the many that are posted each day, reading it ( and I mean really reading it not skim reading), checking for plagarism and recycling old post before it gets curated.
Since I started curating for @steemitworldmap that's make me more aware and appreciative of the whole manual process and its always nice to get comments back from people, even if its a simple "Thanks a lot". You know you've made a little impact on someone's day.
That guy said very right thing @acidyo. I also have seen many begginer users who have stop posting on steemit becoz they are not getting the enough attention. I'm also get very much demotivate in the beginning but i don't loose. And now after 5months i have many good friends on this platform.

And the most important thing i also want to thank you @acidyo because I'm also one of them who get upvote from you at my wrost time for a motivation to stay on.

without @ocd being around curating a whole lot of diverse content in the initial days, many people we see here today would have given up. so a well-deserved thanks @acidyo, for your curation and for creating @ocd...
curators rock \m/
The luck would have it that I'm also using partiko since yesterday and while I won't be sending you a dm, let me leave you a comment you can ignore 😁
I believe that you're the one that gave the support to @costanza when he started out and he's the reason I and many others are still here. And it's not because we got some big vote from him but because he reached out. So in a way, many of us are here because of you.
So, thank you 🍻

I don't often ignore the comments on my page and try to at least respond or throw them a vote acknowledging I read them. :D
That's nice to hear though, hope you guys stick around and find something fun to do on Steem now and in the near future. :)
We'll do that, all those gambling dapps are hard to resist 😄

They're coming in hordes. Let's hope more non-gambling dapps too. :D
Sweet and true. It is not easy to gain that much supporter who will willingly curate, upvote or comment on our contents, especially for accounts above Dolphin levels. I am also very grateful to meet some of them which include @acidyo and the @ocd team as well.
Nice to read. Many of us a steemians sometimes just feel bad about trying to upload content and not being notice by anyone here. I feel better when I post because I have the feeling and the impulse to do it and no expecting anything about anyone to read, upvote or even comment my post. Congrats for this:)!

A vote from you is always welcome but to someone battling on early in their Steemit journey I can imagine it's immense value from a confidence and motivational perspective. It would be interesting to see if the user stuck it out I think. Hopefully.
Also, thanks for your support of my own blog in times past, it was much appreciated as I've said previously. 😀
