Steem Ways update: New logo, Steem keychain, and more.

Greetings!

Today I am pleased to share with you a quick update of one of our services offered as witnesses of the platform. This is SteemWays, a project that we have been maintaining for years for the entire community and that helps users to automate certain aspects of their account such as negative and positive votes.

Currently, more than 300 users automate their accounts with Steem Ways And to guarantee the inclusion and ease of use of more people today we bring an important update that will improve the usability of the site and above all will continue to protect its users guaranteeing them that only actions previously configured by the same users will be made.

The interesting point of the project is that SteemWays trails do not allow self-voting so a user can quietly enter a trail, and even if that trail votes for his publications he will not receive a vote from his own account; this is an attractive point for many users who do not like to modify their negative vote CSI.

Today we are adding Steem Keychain to the website, the Steem password manager most used and accepted by the entire community. You can log in, and authorize @steem-seven to perform POSTING operations the first time you log in.

Also, we have worked on a new logo to be able to provide a professional image to the community; we used several designs and ideas, and after several tests this was the result that convinced us the most:

Image

It is a letter S created dynamically with the brush using a thick stroke with pencil style and a central stripe that cuts the strokes to symbolize a kind of path, we also reorganize the pieces to generate a visually interesting icon with a central frame that represents the block chain.

It took us at least 10 proposals in our creative process to be able to arrive at this idea, we are really satisfied with the result because we kept the color palette that was our main priority.

We also updated some dependencies that were broken in the Project, fixed some loading errors including broken SSL certificates and improved the overall stability of the site.

If you like our work please consider voting @seven.wit as your Steem Witness!
