Campaign to prevent violence against women in public transport

Violence against women in public transport has increased alarmingly in recent years. A mass awareness campaign has been organized against women's violence on women's day (March 8th) sponsored by the 'Do Something Exceptional' voluntary organization.

Under this program, 10 thousand stickers showing hot line number '999' and 'anti-violence slogan' are attached to the public transport so that any woman can get quick assistance from police in emergency.
