"Word Poetry Challenge #20 : Tulay"
Isang matalik na kaibigan
Humiling na siya ay aking tulungan
Kanyang sinisinta ay ligawan
Buong puso ko siyang pinaunlakan
Naging taga-abot ng sulat
Tagabigay ng bulaklak
Kabutihan ng katoto sinisiwalat
Sa dalagang karapat-dapat
Araw-araw ang dilag ay aking kaulayaw
Binibida kaibigang natotorpe
Ngunit sa paglaon ng bawat araw
Nadarama ko ay di mawari
Bakit kay saya ko kapag siya ay kasama
Mga ngiti niya sa isip napipinta
Mga oras ng aming pagsasama
Gintong sandali, kay ligaya
Ako ba ay umiibig na
Bakit sa kanya pa
Hindi pwede, hindi maaari
Isang TULAY lamang ang aking silbi
Subalit damdamin ko ay naghuhumiyaw
Ang dilag ay akin na ngang mahal
Ngunit kaibigan ko ay siya rin ang sinisinta
Naguguluhan ako, paano na ba?
Lakas-loob ako ay aamin
Batid kong akoy mahal nya rin
Mauunawaan ito ng matalik na katoto
Hinding-hindi kami magkakagulo
Nang sa wakas akin ng ibubunyag
Naunahan ako ng dilag sa kanyang pinahayag
"Salamat sa pagiging tulay mo ginoo"
"Sinagot ko na ang kaibigan mo"
