My Work Diary: A Day of Bureaucratic Hassle and Natural Peace
Honestly, every single day we have to step out of the house for one reason or another, especially when it comes to the struggle of making a living and surviving; we must go out to get our work done. Therefore, I don’t need a special day to share in my work diary, because apart from holidays, I have to go out for some work almost every day.

The way everything in our country, especially government services, has transitioned into a digital system has reduced some troubles, but it has also increased others. I needed some corrections on my birth certificate. Previously, this could be done very easily at the Union Parishad. Now, it has to be corrected digitally through a long process, which has increased the hassle in this regard.
So, in the morning, I first went to our No. 8 Sobaichari Union Parishad with my problem. Before leaving, I had checked online once to see what legal documents I would need to submit for the correction, so I went to the parishad with all the necessary documents beforehand.

Upon arriving, I shared my problem with a computer operator working at the Union Parishad. He asked me to get a form filled out and printed from an online service shop outside. I had thought that the form-filling would happen right at the Union Parishad, which is why I had prepared everything in advance.
Anyway, I couldn't find any computer service shops around the Union Parishad. So, I walked a bit toward the highway and found an online service shop there. I asked the person if he could fill out and print the birth certificate correction form for me. Since he said he could, I had to wait there for a while.

I provided the operator with all my correction details, and then I photocopied all my necessary documents from his shop. I gathered all the paperwork together to make a single file. Along with printing the form, I was also given a security number that needed to be submitted.
After that, I had to return to the Union Parishad again. First, I submitted all the photocopies of my documents, along with my photo and the form, to a lady working there. Then, she verified the OTP that arrived on my phone from the form submission, and after that, I was given a small token slip to keep as a receipt.

I was told that an SMS would be sent to my number within a week, and then I would have to return to the Union Parishad once again to collect the birth certificate. Although I am presenting all these matters to you in a simple way, in reality, completing the full process took a lot of my time and I had to face a lot of hassle.
Particularly, there was only one computer operator at the Union Parishad, due to which the work was moving very slowly as he tried to serve everyone. I was finally able to finish my work around 3:00 PM, and after that, I returned home, took a bath, and freshened up. I also checked online from home to ensure that my registration had been done correctly.

In the afternoon, it rained a little. After a splash of rain, I noticed that the sun came out again. When the sun shines right after it rains, nature looks even more beautiful. I thought this would be a great time to head toward our garden and check on the plants, doing some maintenance if necessary.
I visited our rooftop garden, and the plants looked even more refreshing after being drenched in the rainwater. The supports of some plants had tilted due to the wind, so I fixed them. Various vegetable plants and fruit trees have been planted in our garden; besides, seasonal vegetables are grown here quite often.

I spent my time with the garden until almost evening. After finishing the lot hassle of the Union Parishad during the day, spending some time with the fresh plants in the garden during the afternoon felt incredibly rejuvenating.

Las diligencias personales forman parte del trabajo diario que puede realizar una persona y donde se requiere disposición de tiempo para realizar. Tienes un jardín bien frondoso, con árboles frutales y hortalizas que son importantes para la alimentación de la familia.
