A Village Fair

A village fair is a centre of assembly for the villagers. A village fair needs no advertisement because everyone knows when and where it is going to be held.

In a village fair there is an arrangement of selling, buying and cultural functions. It is one kind of bazar or hat. Generally the stalls of the fair are neatly decorated. There is one row agricultural goods and tools and in another row horticultureal products, vegetables, flower plants and saplings. The arrangement of amusement makes business pleasant. But it has also an educational value. We learn where things are made and what economic progress there has been in a locality and we able to meet and mix with a variety of people. In fact, the usefulness of a village fair is beyond description.

Arrange a fair annually in the village is a tradition of Bangalees. Such an age old tradition is and will be going on for the unlimited times to come.
