The Beauty Of Unattainable Things

People often find that things that they don't have seem more attractive than what is actually in front of them. It's a common part of human nature. When something is out of reach, our mind starts to imagine it in a perfect way. We forget it's flaws and only think about it's best side.

This happens in many parts of our life. A job we don't get may feel better than what we have. A person who is not in your life anymore may seem perfect in memory. Even a lifestyle we can't afford can look amazing when we think about it from a distance. The reason behind this is simple. When we don't fully express something our imagination fills in the gaps. And imagination usually creates a better version than reality.

But the truth is nothing is perfect. Everything has
both good and bad side. The problem starts when we only focus on what we don't have and ignore what we actually have.

It's okay to dream and want more but we should also learn to appreciate what is ours. Real happiness comes when we balance both dreaming for better things while valuing the present life.
