Finally, spring reached St. Petersburg, and even night walks became pleasant. After a light rain, Palace Square turned into a mirror. I always loved how the light from the General Staff Building reflects in these temporary puddles. You look at the arch and its reflection, and it seems as if the building goes deep somewhere. A couple of people ahead, their silhouettes against the golden facade, add a lively touch to this monumental beauty. It's especially interesting to watch how people's figures are distorted in the water, becoming almost abstract shadows. Such moments make you look at familiar places in a new way.
I love photography. I spend time in nature, walking around the city. And I often take pictures when I see something interesting.
I always edit my pictures (mostly using Lightroom) and love sharing them with the community.
And here you can see some of my works, that you can find in my blog
Wow! St. Petersburg is indeed a beautiful place to visit. I admire it's building and the golden light reflections of the place. It's absolutely amazing and your shot is perfect. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Yes, St. Petersburg is amazing place especially in summer with its white nights.
By the way I will share more from St. Petersburg in my next posts.
This photo is beautiful!!! That building looks like it's made of gold. Seeing the zoomed-out photo on my phone, it looked like it was a photo of the inside of a gold ring.
