☕ A Moment Between Deadlines
Most people imagine a lawyer’s life as constant movement — courtrooms, paperwork, long arguments, and endless coffee.
And honestly… they’re not completely wrong.
But there are these small pauses in between. The quiet mornings or late evenings when the case files are closed for a moment and the world slows down just enough to breathe. Standing in the kitchen, thinking about the next strategy, replaying conversations from the day, or simply letting my mind wander somewhere far from legal codes and contracts.
Being a lawyer means carrying responsibility all the time.
But it also means learning how to create your own moments of calm.
Sometimes that calm looks like a walk outside.
Sometimes it’s music in the background.
And sometimes it’s just leaning on the counter, letting the silence exist for a few minutes.
Those moments help me reset.
Because tomorrow, the arguments begin again.
