Finally the built-in cabinets for the bedrooms and the kitchen, window screens, grills, and screen doors are installed today
We can finally relocate to our new house tomorrow because the things which are waiting for to get done this past days within this week had been finished. The contractor for the job should have done it earlier this week but he says that he will do it today and then finish it all in one day. Well, after all, he already had the measurements done a few times over from the past weeks and he has to come back at certain days because what he will measure are not yet done. Like for example he has to get back to measure the screen doors after the tiles had been put in the flooring to get an exact measurement.
He also said that he has to install the cabinets and what I mentioned in the title including the bathroom door after all the things like painting the house are all done so that the cabinets will look clean. That is what he had done with the sliding and awning windows and it made the windows very neat-looking, no spatter of concrete nor paint because it was installed later.
I liked the results like in my bedroom built-in cabinet color and style, it is big because my bedroom is big, no wonder that I paid a lot for this contract because my cabinet alone is somewhat a higher capacity cabinet but it is OK as I can put many things in it although I do not have much possessions like clothes because my T-shirts are all give-away from political candidates if not from businesses or suppliers. I don't even have rubber shoes.
The kitchen cabinet color is something unique because most households choose wood color if not brown or white. But since I want a bit of a colorful house, I chose Orange or light orange to give the kitchen vibrancy. But the color of the splash guard in the sink area is not my own choosing, it was my mother who told my brother to put the set of tiles there. But what I want to put there was always not available as even the tiles on the floor are just my second choice because the type of what I want to be put are not available to be had.
The screen door at the back of the house is an all-screen type because I want to maximize lots of fresh air to come from the backyard and to inside the house when there is a breeze. The only issue will be that the dust from the lower part of the all-screen door will also get into the house.
But regardless, or even if what I told the contractor to do will not be done and put a regular screen door there it is ok because our new house is already cool inside because of the installation of insulation of the roof and then we might get A/C installed in the living room area which means that our whole house will be like the shopping malls, the only difference is that we will not worry anymore about paying electricity because of our solar panels.
