I already forgone the purchasing of fruits and other foods using food delivery app because they become so expensive already
This is one of the cheapest Banana variety, it has a sour or tart taste, still sweet but I prefer what we call "Lacatan" and I wanted to eat it very ripe because it is sweet-smelling and will taste sweeter too.
We are in a trap, a tap which will snare us forever, and that is about not getting out of financial hardship simply because the value of our money is kept on diminishing as time passes by. The example of this is the price of crispy pork leg, before the pandemic years, it can be bought for about 250 Pesos, then during the pandemic the price went up to 350 Pesos, now it is double that and it is not that delicious to eat. I mean the purchasing power of money had been diminished considerably and that also affected me in a big way because I cannot freely buy the things that I wanted or even needed because the prices of all things had gone-up so prohibitively high.
When I want to buy some food using my food delivery app, I end-up just closing the app after a few minutes of searching which food item is cheaper or bringing more value for my money. Apparently none of the foods listed in the food app "FoodPanda" gives me that option as all of the meals which I want to buy is offering a good price. It will be still fine if I am earning good amount of money but if you will but even one a week using the food app, you will definitely like burning your money away, it is not worth it because again, the meals had become so expensive.
It will be wiser to just buy the ingredients and cook the meals for yourself but then again the cost of the ingredients are also expensive and although you might probably get more "bang for your buck", the reality is that we are now living in a world where only the elites of our society are the ones that are enjoying life because the can afford things while the common people like you and me are suffering from the system which is designed or to favor the bog businesses and certain people who hold power in high places.
Anyway, it is just sad that the effect of inflation is making the lives of people here in my country alone to get harder and harder. So I gave-up in buying foods like fruits which are not only more expensive now but also tasteless like what the ambulant vendors hawk in the road beside our house very morning. We already had bought from them before and they are selling bland apples and oranges and only grapes would taste normal. However, certain grape varieties with good quality will cost me an arm and leg, so as other imported fruits.
Now we are most of the time, just having bananas as our fruit-dessert with our meals because they are still relatively cheaper for the reason that there are many growers of varieties of bananas here in my country. As for other fruits, the fruit vendors can keep their gold-like-priced fruits, and so are the restaurants. However from time to time particularly when there is a special family occasion, I still have to consider buying some foodstuffs using food delivery apps because of course my family matters a lot to me and they deserve to have special things once in a while.
