My plan to buy my loving mother a working Smartphone had been delayed and delayed. It is because of the house project which I have to make sure to get done right and some other house needs plus the roofing the back of the house, garage area and the gate. So buying my mother a new Smartphone had been set aside these past few months until the battery of her very old hand-me-down Smartphone from my niece went swollen.

I could have bought her last month but the prices of cryptos are not performing well even until today but I promised to buy my mother her new Smartphone today so I have to fulfill it right away otherwise she will not be ale to use anything because I don't think my other siblings nor any other Pontius Pilate from this world wills do the same except me, which I am more than glad to do.

You might ask why I bought my Mother a Samsung A17 and not higher specs Smartphone. Well she is just purely using Smartphone for watching videos in Facebook and sometimes video calling people and receiving video calls like to my Aunt chat and my brother or siblings when she needs to tell them something or video calling the barrio captain when we need the ambulance.

Other than those my mother was not doing anything to her Smartphone, she doesn't even know how to use the Camera of a Smartphone. I was originally planning to buy her a Redmi Note 15 5G but I've that it disconnects to the Wi-Fi often and I do not want that issue for my mother to experience considering that I also like that particular Smartphone's other specs like the remote control although my mother will never use it.

But Redmi Note 15 5G has a better sound and bigger battery although the processor is weaker compared to the Exynos 1330 of the Samsung A17 5G in the 5nm architecture size whereas the former has 6nm which means that the A17 5G is faster.

So I just want my mother to have a much stable Smartphone because Samsung will update it for 6 years if not 5 for software and security while the Redmi Note 15 5G can only have 4 years of update although it is still good considering what its other specs are giving to the end-user.

I settled for the Samsung A17 5G because I want my mother not to get those Wi-Fi error connections even though it can be fixed with some workarounds but either way her upcoming new Smartphone is more than enough to give her the best experience since she is just using it for watching videos from Facebook plus I just want her to use a more reliable Smartphone for long-term use.
