My 2 HP A/C can operate at 40% capacity which saves me in consuming electricity
I will be nearing in extensively using my A/C once my bi-directional power meter for my grid-tied solar power system set-up goes in operation. I am still waiting but hopefully it will get installed later or as early as next week of April next month which is just a few days ago.
I am now used to using A/C because it makes me so comfortable especially for sleeping and breathing and I guess it just elevates my quality of life. Now I don't want to endure a hot room and gone are the days, weeks, months, and years of uncomfortable room because now I have the best possible room that I can have thanks be to God's mercy and blessings to me and my parents.
The cost of electricity here in m country is higher than the rate in New York and will be more expensive in the month of April. The cost of cooking gas is so terrifyingly expensive and I guess that many people will use wood or coal to cook their foods. My mother didn't bought cooking gas and just cooked using electricity because our solar power can accommodate the load easy. We already have a bigger rice cooker and electric stove for the purpose of cooking using our more than enough future KWh credits from our net-metering service.
Anyway, because my A/C can run with only 40% of its 100% power consumption, I will only pay around 0.056 US cents per hour which is fantastic because of course I will be able to run it 24/7 without eating much of the future KWh credits generated/harvested by my solar panels. I run my 2 HP A/C with this power consumption because it can cool my room anyway like it is running in full power, so it is just wise to run it at 40% power instead of full power so I can save in consuming electricity.
I am also setting the temperature at 27 degrees Celsius because it is cool enough for me since the blower of the A/C is facing towards me which I also set it to do just that.
The weather now here in my place is hot but our house is comparatively cooler compared to the former house which has no insulation under the corrugated roof. I have suffered so much discomfort from our old house but I am glad that it held-up until I was given by God the opportunity to level-up our living condition which we are enjoying right now.
