I hope that the war in the middle east region would conclude faster because the fuel prices now are so high that it will bring my country's economy down below the gutter. I can't imagine how it will affect the prices of the things which I am buying for my needs particularly for my dialysis treatment because the allocation price from my health insurance is fixed. It means that the hospital might charge us extra bill if the cost of the things needed for the treatment goes extra high.

I hope that I am just overthinking it because so many of my co-patients are poor and only relies from their families to support them. This is one of the major uncertainties which dialysis patients are facing because they are so reliant on products which are also greatly affected by such events like the impending fuel shortage.

However, I heard in the news that our country can still source crude oil from other countries but the factor there will be the cost. But it doesn't mean that hardships will be relieved, it will just continue and for many people relying on daily wages to survive, the will be the ones which will receive the hardest blow while the rich will still be able to "weather the storm" out.

Anyway, for my home solar power system, we are just waiting for the electricity bill to arrive with my father's name on it which is a requirement for the power company to replace our current power meter with the bi-directional power meter so that we can finally export the power generated by our solar panels into the grid which again will give us credits for our consumption.

It will cause us to achieve the "zero-billing" if our consumption of electricity will be less than the power being generated by our solar panels. So the money which we can save because of it will just get used for other things and at the same time we can enjoy the use of electricity from then on.

However, the electric bill will not come until the 28th of this month so it will take around fifteen days for the bi-directional power meter to get installed. But at least we are getting some progress about the net-metering process because the solar power contractor is assisting us to have it done the soonest possible time so that we can fully enjoy the benefit the power coming from the Sun.

With regards to purchasing a cheap electric vehicle, it is actually not that cheap and will cost me more than help a million PHP but in turn I will not anymore worry about fuel prices because of course the vehicle will run on full battery.

The other EVs costs a lot and does not have that ground clearance which I would like to have because of the type of road that we have here in our town plus it gets flooded when the weather turns to get wet and rainy and I do not want to get stranded if there will be a widespread flooding because of my need to get to the dialysis center regularly.

But what I am concerned about these EVs are their durability if the can even last or if the parts are readily available if some parts are needed to be replaced although EVs have a minimal maintenance. So I still have to think about these important matters before I make a decision because of course I have needs and also do not want much compromise because we are still involving much money here which I do not want to get wasted for supposedly buying the wrong EV.
