Rate Limit Exceeded?

Well... welcome to the month of May!

It was my intention to start off the month with a new post, but it seems like the Steemit image servers are down.

And when I tried to read and curate some posts, I keep getting a "rate limit exceeded" error message. Makes me wonder whether Steemit is getting hit with DDOS attack or something... I have never seen this message before.

Anywhere...

Anyway, not going to put a whole lot of effort into this, other than to just put a marker here to say "I tried!"

Edited to add: It is now the morning of May 2nd, and I still can't add photos to this post, and everyone else's photos seem to be "broken" as well.

Edited to add: on the recommendation of @weisser-rabe I am now using the steemit.moecki.online front end, which seems to be working. Yay!

I guess I'm going to go in search of some kind of "official update," but I am not going to hold my breath for that one... sadly, "officialdom" here on Steemit is notoriously slow and reluctant in terms of passing along information about "what's going on behind the scenes."
