Yeah, Julius is 46 years old today, and we can perceive many things with him, and being good taken care of he can probably be 60 to 70 years old!
Julius is a chimpanzee, referring to Norway's famous chimpanzee from Kristiansand Zoo, and he is loved for he is and still is in the future, and for the past. And with him we crush all the bad schools when we are here being around at homes, at other places than the home, and being abroad, and how is it to be a human being different places when being.
So, Julius was born during the Christmas in 1979, and the date was the second Christmas day, and maybe we could call him Christmasius in the English spoken and written places where we could be, and where we still are. And it is special with such a guy as father to several children, and he has got these children from several of his different partners, and even the partners can be the same, or one can change from time to time, and from space to space. Julius has had several partners, and they have born his children, and these are: Miff as the mother to Zuri, Jane, the mother to Yr and Kongo og Bini, the mother to Julius Junior. So, the name one human or humans in a group determine, and maybe there can also be wishes from any other conceivable angle when getiing as child as we get.
Julius is the known star of Kristiansand, of several stars, and one of them is me, and we appreciate his time, and that he still is playing and operating in Kristiansand Zoo, and it is nice to experience his being when he is where he is. When Julius was born in 1979, the zookeepers thought it was a female, and therefore he was first called for Julianne. After some days, the name became Julius, and that was of obvious reasons, like his gender, that he was a leader, and that his did things in the male ways. And today, on 26 December 2025, he is 46 years old, and he looks like he is in good shape. And among the chimpanzees, there are Christmas trees which are decorated with fruits and vegetables. He also received gifts, and the food that he likes best of all food that is available and accessible, and that is namely nuts and fruits, and therefore he is pretty healthy and wealthy in his ways of operating as a leading animal in the zoo where he is.
The birthday to Julius was celebrated with extra attention and gifts both to him, and to the herd of animals in the zoo in Kristiansand. Six weeks after his birth, in February 1980, a zookeeper discovers that Julius lies bleeding and screaming on the floor, outside the room his mother. The mother has denied to accept him. The tip of the index finger of the left hand to Julius was bitten, and he screams pitifully. The director of Kristiansand Zoo, Edvard Moseid, and the doctor William Glad determine themselves that something had to be done – they can no sit and see that Julius is dying in front of their eyes. And therefore, they are lifting Julius carefully out, and they wrap him in a warm blanket, and they are driving him home to the family Glad. But they know that the decision is fateful anyway.
The life to the chimpanzee Julius has been extraordinary, and he was rejected by his mother. And Julius grew up in a human home, with both Edvard Moseid and William Glad around him. The chimpanzees are according to the press messages that have been given strongly threatened. And the chimpanzees are a part of the protection program of animals by Kristiansand Zoo. The main threats are destroyed habitats, hunting, catching and selling as pets. During the 1900s, there were two millions of chimpanzees around the earth, and today the number is between 170 000 and 300 000, and hence the number of animals in this species has declined dramatically when we are here and there as we are, and we are just following our own wishes in our brains, and the hearts and the lungs we are also taken care of.
