A Graphite Piece

After a brief Pinterest hunting sometime in December, I found a couple of interesting figures and subject but chose to explore this. Reason being that this was going to be a model for the New Year, a well layered work with depth, hopefully lots of depth. So far I have kept to this medium or technique but then there are times that the expression I conceived is light or the subject doesn’t need that much depth to begin with.

I layered his face and improvised his sweater but that hair, for the hair, I had to follow a rhythm, a steady rhythm. I think you can feel it.
