Crypto Market

Things look and actually are bleak in the crypto World. I bet nobody really thought Bitcoin would ever again go down below $70,000.00, and yet here it is at $66,000.00. And the one that matters to us, Steem, is at $0,051, up from its All Time Low of $0.044 just a few days ago. The market cap is at 2.8 Trillion USD, and now I would not be surprised if it went below 2 Trillion USD.

Now we have to understand the financial world is a world of, I would think, something like fiction things are not what they seem to be. I read the other day, that on the same day some huge tech companies bought 10 Billion Dollars worth of each others stocks and this made the price rise accordingly, and it was all just a game. This sounds like that Three Stooges sketch where the thre guys owe each other twenty dollars and they pay each other off with what the other one is paying, in the end they all end up with the money they started out with, with the caveat that all the debts were paid. I think someone lost out in those transactions, but I don't know who it was.

Well, I think crypto is not exactly like that but in a way it is similar it seems prices move in a well thought out way but you get the feeling there is something tricky going on. Like I have already told you I invested $121.00 worth of some Tron I earned on Steemit and some USDC I earned on another site. I put it in a token which appears to actually hold some usefulness. But at the moment my $121.00 are worth exactly $60.00 less than half of what I invested. Yes, I am an investor, on a minuscule scale, but still an investor. The way I see it, this token I own will probably go down to $25.00. But I will keep holding it, I could have sold it for $110.00 a week ago when the price, for some reason pumped, but decided to ride it out.

It might make a sudden pump in the future and I could actually make a profit, or more likely, with my luck dump all the way down to less than a dollar. We shall see.
