Tintern Abbey, South Wales a Quick Stop Place Worth Exploring
On a recent investigation project, I came across a name that I had never heard of, Tintern Abbey.
Out of curiosity, I searched it on Google and was shocked to see the timeless beauty of it. This place hit me on the right spot. I just watched hours' worth of pictures and videos of Tintern Abbey, South Wales.
Tintern Abbey is quite a pleasant place to stretch your legs and get a bit of historical feeling. The remains are larger than I anticipated.
I find something quiet in the way the old stone walls are resting in the middle of the green valley. There is no need to spend hours and hours; 30 minutes is sufficient to walk around, take some photos, and enjoy the beautiful views.
Tintern Abbey was established as far back as 1131 by Cistercian monks.
Although it is a ruin at this point, much of the building has remained. In what was once the church, the cloisters, and part of the living quarters, you may walk through.
The setting is even more charismatic. It is hidden in the Wye Valley, and the hills are on all sides, and the River Wye is right beside it.
There is a hope and a dream to visit this historical and full of wonder land one day. If you ever get a chance to visit Tintern Abbey, don't waste it; very few people would get that opportunity.
