CONTEST SUPER MACROPHOTOGRAPHY WEEK 17 ,Baphomet moth , Pakistan
Assalam u alaikum,
The insect I am mentioning to you today is a species of moth that is very rarely seen. It suddenly flew into our house, but it died after hitting a fan, which broke its wing. But while it was flying, it was very restless, which made me feel that it was anxious to get out, but as soon as I opened the door to get out, it hit the fan and died.

Creatonotos gangis moth, also known as the Baphomet moth or harnessed tiger moth.
Location:
Native to Southeast Asia and parts of Australia.
Unique Feature:
Males possess four large, inflatable, hairy appendages called coremata, or hair pencils, used to release pheromones to attract mates.
Appearance:
They have brown forewings with a broken dark streak, while the hindwings are typically white, and the abdomen is generally red or yellow.
Habits:
The caterpillars are often considered pests of certain agricultural crops, including rice and soybeans.

It was described by Carl Linnaeus in his 1763 Centuria Insectorum. It is often listed as a synonym of Creatonotos interrupta,[4] but the identity is unclear.
##. Source of information
I had no information about it at all. I was only impressed by its new color, and that's why I was forced to take pictures of it. When I searched for it on Google, I realized that it was a species of moth. The information I am sharing with you today was all taken from the internet.
